Ingredients
- 8 chicken thighs, skinned
- ½–1 cup red wine vinegar, according to your taste preference
- 2⁄3 cups tamari, or low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 4 6” cinnamon sticks
How to Make It
- Brown chicken slightly in nonstick skillet, if you wish, and then transfer to greased slow cooker.
- Mix wine vinegar, tamari sauce, and garlic powder together in a bowl. Pour over chicken.
- Break cinnamon sticks into several pieces and distribute among chicken thighs.
- Cover and cook on Low 5–6 hours, or until chicken is tender but not dry.
