Ingredients
- 8 slices of black forest ham
- 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- 250 grams soft white ricotta cheese
- 125 grams baby spinach
- ½ small onion, finely diced
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- salt and pepper to taste
How to Make It
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Place the ham slices in muffin trays and set aside.
- In a skillet, heat the oil over medium heat. Sauté the garlic and onion until soft.
- Add spinach and sauté until tender.
- Transfer the mixture to a bowl. Add the ricotta cheese and half of the mozzarella.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste; stir together.
- Spoon an even amount of mixture into each ham cup. Top with remaining mozzarella.
- Cook for about 15 minutes or until mozzarella is just browned.
- Arrange the stuffed ham on a platter and serve.
