Ingredients
- ¾ pound spaghetti
- 2 leeks, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 6 ounces baked or deli ham, sliced and cut into strips
- 1 cup green beans, sliced
- Kosher salt and black pepper
- 2 teaspoons lemon zest
How to Make It
- Cook the pasta according to the package directions; drain, reserving ½ cup of the cooking water.
- Cook the leeks in the butter in a large skillet over medium heat until tender, 4 to 6 minutes. Add the ham, green beans, and reserved cooking water; season with ¾ teaspoon salt and ¼ teaspoon pepper. Cook until the green beans are just tender.
- Toss with the pasta and lemon zest.
