Ingredients
- Extra-virgin olive oil
- 6 pork boneless country spare ribs
- 2 cups pale ale
- 3 tbsp pepper jelly
- 3 tbsp apple jelly
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp herbes de Provence
- 1 tbsp beef bouillon
- 2 tsp seasoned salt
- 1 tbsp black pepper
- 1 tsp cumin
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
How to Make It
- Preheat Instant Pot on Sauté mode. Add enough extra-virgin olive oil to lightly coat bottom of pot.
- Add pork spare ribs into Instant Pot, browning all sides.
- In a mixing bowl, add pale ale, pepper jelly, apple jelly, Dijon mustard, herbes de Provence, beef bouillon, seasoned salt, black pepper, cumin, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, and cornstarch. Whisk together to combine.
- Pour mixture over ribs in the Instant Pot.
- Secure lid on the Instant Pot and pressure cook on high for 45 minutes. Allow pressure to release naturally.
- Remove lid and, using a fork, check tenderness of the pork ribs. If needed, pressure cook an additional 10 minutes or until desired tenderness is reached.
- Serve ribs with your favorite side dishes.
