Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 3 cups raw long-grain rice
- 6 cups water
- 3 tsp salt to taste
How to Make It
- Grease slow cooker with the butter.
- If you have time, heat the water to boiling in a saucepan on your stovetop, or in a microwave-safe bowl in your microwave. Then pour rice, water (heated or not), and salt into the cooker and stir together.
- Cover and cook on High 1½–2½ hours. If you’re home and able to do so, stir occasionally.
