Bananas in a devilishly rich sauce. To keep the bananas from getting mushy, get some that are still slightly green and unripe.
Ingredients
- 3 peeled and sliced bananas
- ¼ cup melted butter
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons rum
- 2 tablespoons brandy
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- ¼ teaspoons cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons banana liqueur
- Vanilla ice cream
How to Make It
- Slice the bananas and place at the bottom of a slow cooker.
- Combine the remaining ingredients, except the ice cream, in a bowl and pour over the bananas.
- Cook for 2 hours on low. Serve topped with vanilla ice cream.
