This berry-blasted smoothie is packed with antioxidants and fiber from the chia seeds. You can substitute 1 cup of almond or hemp milk instead of the coconut milk and water.
Ingredients
- Mixed berries: about 5 strawberries, 10 blueberries
- ½ unripe medium banana
- ½ cup coconut milk (UHT boxed)
- ½ cup water
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 1 tablespoon almond butter
How to Make It
- Combine all the ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth.
- If you will not be drinking this right away, you may want to add the chia seeds minutes before you drink, otherwise they will expand and change the consistency of the smoothie.
