Nutty and fruity, this is a delicious and healthy start to the day. Serve it with milk or yogurt.
Ingredients
- ½ cup sunflower seeds
- ⅓ cup pumpkin seeds
- ¾ cup coarsely chopped hazelnuts
- 2¾ cups buckwheat flakes
- 2½ cups rice flakes
- 1¼ cups millet flakes
- 1⅓ cups coarsely chopped dried apple
- ¾ cup coarsely chopped dried dates
How to Make It
- Put a skillet over medium heat. Add the sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, and hazelnuts and toast, shaking the pan frequently, for 4 minutes, or until golden brown. Transfer to a large bowl and let cool.
- Add the buckwheat flakes, rice flakes, millet flakes, dried apple, and dates to the bowl and mix well. Store in an airtight container for up to five days.
