Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- 2 cups lemon juice
- Ice cubes
How to Make It
- Stir together sugar and 2 cups water in a medium saucepan. Add strawberries, and cook over medium heat until sugar dissolves and strawberries thaw. Remove from heat, and thoroughly mash strawberries with a potato masher.
- Pour strawberry mixture through a fine sieve into a 1-gal. pitcher; discard solids. Stir in lemon juice and 2 qt. water. Serve immediately over ice, or cover and chill.
