Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon oil
- ½ packet of dry macaroni pasta or any pasta you have in the cupboard
- 500 g lean beef mince
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 x cans baked beans
- ¾ tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- ¼ teaspoon chilli powder optional
- 1 heaped tablespoon tomato paste or tomato sauce
- 1 teaspoon beef stock powder
- ¼ cup grated cheese
- 1 large onion, chopped
How to Make It
- Boil macaroni in a large saucepan until soft. Drain in a colander.
- Heat oil in a large fry pan on a medium heat and add mince.Stir till brown. Add onions and keep stirring until soft.
- Mix in baked beans, sauce, spices and tomato paste then sprinkle in stock powder.
- Mix well then add cooked macaroni. Pour mixture into an ovenproof baking dish and cover with grated cheese.
- Bake at 180C for half an hour or until cheese is melted. Serve with any green vegetables
