Ingredients
- 1 kg blade steak cut into cubes
- 2 large onions peeled and cut in chunks
- 1 tinned tomatoes with herbs
- 4 large potatoes peel and cubed
- 2 tablespoons of flour
- ½ cup tomato paste
- 1 cup beef stock
- Salt and pepper
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- Sour cream or plain yoghurt
How to Make It
- Brown meat and onions on a medium heat with 2 tablespoons of cooking oil in a large fry pan adding paprika and stirring until meat is coated.
- Add all other ingredients except flour and tomato paste and simmer with the lid on for 1 ½ hours or until meat is tender.
- Before serving combine flour and tomato paste to thicken sauce or add a bit more water if too thick already.
- Add sour cream or yoghurt on the top if wanted and serve with crusty bread or with rice, pasta or vegetables.
