For a “green” smoothie, this fruit and kale breakfast drink has a brilliant blue color from the blueberries, and added flavor from strawberries and raspberries. The dates add a touch of sweetness and blend right in.
Ingredients
- 1 cup frozen blueberries
- ½ cup frozen strawberries
- ½ cup frozen raspberries
- 7 pitted dates
- 1½ cups kale or baby kale (stripped from stalk, chopped, and rinsed)
- 1½ cups water
How to Make It
- Place all the ingredients in a blender and blend from low to high speed until smooth. Add an additional ¼ cup of water if too thick.
